Super Eagles’ hopeful Kelechi Nwakali has said he is loving life at his new club FC Porto after another impressive performance against Vitoria Guimaraes over the weekend, AOIFootball.com reports.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joined Porto from Arsenal last month, scoring on his debut for Porto last Wednesday, before capping up a fantastic week with another stellar display against Guimaraes which saw him bag an assist in their 5-3 win.

Nwakali told AOIFootball.com after the win that he was happy with the assist and hopes to get better in the coming games.

“It’s always good when you come into a club and settle in well; I scored on my debut last week and yesterday I had another assist, so I will say I’m satisfied with my performance so far.

“I want to keep improving on and off the pitch to ensure I meet my goals this season and hopefully play for the main team when the season kicks off,” Nwakali said.

Nwakali and his Porto team will file out again on Wednesday in a last friendly game against Gil Vicente before Saturday’s opening Segunda Liga match away at Estoril Praia.
