Nigerian striker, Sylvester Igboun was in domineering form when he scored one and assisted another for FK Ufa in their 3-0 bashing of Anzhi Makhachkala in the Russian Premier League on Monday, AOIFootball.com reports.
Failing to score in his side’s opening fixture last weekend, the striker jumped highest to meet an Ivan Oblyakov cross after just three minutes to put his team in front.
With the match looking destined to end by just Igbohun lone goal, the striker was again involved in the second goal, this time setting up Ondrej Vanek in the 87th minute to double UFA’s lead before Ondrej completed his brace two minutes later as the match ended 3-0.
The Nigerian forward had a game rating of 8.7, bagging home the man of the match award, whilst also completing 92% of his passes, 100% take-ons and winning eight of his 9 duels contested.
The result moves UFA to third on the log with four points after just two games as they remain unbeaten in the opening round of matches.
