Super Eagles’ defender, Olaoluwa Aina arrived the Italian city of Turin on Monday ahead of a season-long loan to Torino from Chelsea, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Chelsea right-back is due to undergo medicals with Torino after both clubs reached an agreement on the loan deal, with an option to permanently buy the player next summer also included in the deal.
Aina joined Chelsea in 2007 and was part of the Blues’ most successful youth team, winning the UEFA Youth League on two occasions. He also featured for Championship side Hull City last season, making 46 appearances.
The 21-year-old narrowly missed out on Nigeria’s final 23-man squad to last summer’s FIFA World Cup after switching allegiance from England.
