Super Eagles’ winger, Moses Simon has admitted his newborn baby girl has brought luck to him following his switch from the Belgian league to the Spanish LaLiga early this month, AOIFootball.com reports.
Baby Emmanuella was born on the 3rd of August with Moses coincidentally joining Levante 48 hours after, much to the joy of the Eagles’ winger.
The former Gent attacker, who missed out on Nigeria’s World Cup party in Russia due to injury, further revealed that he’s looking forward to a return to the national team ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers against Seychelles.
“You know babies are blessings from God. Emmanuella has brought Joy and blessing to me and my family. She came into our lives as a blessing and that’s why we named her Emmanuella.
“Obviously, I miss playing with the national team. I have put the World Cup miss behind me and I’m ready to give my best when called upon,” Moses concluded.
The winger sat out Levante’s opening league win away at Real Betis due to injury but could return for their first home clash this weekend.
