Former MFM striker, Stephen Odey has expressed joy after scoring twice for FC Zürich when they dispatched Concordia Basel 6-0 in the round of 64 of the Swiss Cup at the weekend, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Eagles’ forward, who has been impressive this season, scored on the opening day of the league, taking his goal tally to three in four matches already.
The striker posted afterwards that he was delighted with his form and hopes to score more for FC Zürich this term as they hope to retain the Swiss Cup at the end of the season.
“Super excited after scoring my first brace for my team against FC Concordia Basel in the Swiss Cup. It’s now three goals in four games; still hungry for more though and it can only get better,” Odey posted.
The 20-year-old forward has already surpassed his goal haul last season in just four matches.
