Ahead of his side’s all-important AFCON qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda, Head Coach of Tanzania’s Taifa Stars, Emmanuel Amuneke has named a strong 25-man list comprising of 3 goalkeepers, 11 defenders, 6 midfielders and 5 strikers for the September 9 clash, reports.
Top on the list of players invited is Belgium- based Mbawana Samatta who plays for Genk, while Msuva Simon of Al-Jadida of Morocco also made the cut.
“I know the Tanzanians are trusting in me with my assistant coaches. I am now part of Tanzania because this is my second home now. We shall work hard to make wonders,” Amuneke noted as he named the team.
Uganda currently leads  Group L with three points after that slim 1-0 away victory to Cape Verde with Tanzania and Lesotho each have a point.
