Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has joined Belgian club, RS Charleroi from Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg on a one-year loan deal after both clubs agreed on the terms of the player’s transfer, can exclusively report.

Sporting Charleroi will also have the option to sign the player on a permanent basis for a fee of around €3.5 million, with both clubs splitting the player’s salary for the 2018/2019 season equally.

“I’m very happy and elated about this move because I can now settle down and begin to enjoy football once again,” a happy Osimhen disclosed.

Osimhen joined Wolfsburg in January 2017 but had limited playing time, featuring just 15 times and starting just three of those games.
