Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has been officially unveiled by Belgian club, RS Charleroi after joining the club on a season loan deal from German Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, reports.

The former U-17 World Cup winner, who was handed the No. 45 jersey ahead of the new season, admitted afterwards that he was excited to be in Belgium and can’t wait to re-start his career.

“I feel excited to be here with Charleroi. The last few months have been rough for me but I’m happy to be here and just can’t wait to get back on the field of play.

“They showed so much faith in me by bringing me here and I just want to repay them with goals and good performances whenever I’m called upon,” Osimhen said.

The striker will now hope to re-launch his career in Belgium as he hopes to return to the Super Eagles’ fold.
