Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has returned to France ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Seychelles slated for the 7th of September in Victoria, the capital of the Southern African country, reports.

The Eagles are expected to fly straight to Seychelles for the game but will first assemble in Paris before making the trip to Victoria.

Last Friday, Rohr released a list of 24 players invited for the clash, with key players like skipper Mikel John Obi and Moses Simon missing due to injuries. Victor Moses was unavailable for selection after he recently announced his retirement from international football.

The three-time African champions are however expected to record a win against the ‘weakest’ team in Group E as the Gavin Jeanne tutored-side have not won a game in 3 years.

Seychelles lost their first game to Libya 5-1 while the Super Eagles were beaten 2-0 at home by South Africa in Uyo.
