Despite returning to training in time for Monday evening’s clash at home to Celta Vigo, Super Eagles’ winger, Moses Simon is expected to sit out Levante’s first home game of the season, can authoritatively confirm.
The former Gent winger, who missed out on the Eagles’ 24-man list for the game against Seychelles, told exclusively that he’s working very hard to ensure he returns to full fitness.
“It’s true that I’m back in training, but I will miss the game against Celta Vigo because I still feel a little pain in my leg. This is a new club for me and I want to make sure I’m 100% fit before I return to the pitch,” Moses revealed.
He went further to assure fans of Levante that he will, however, return to full fitness soon and help the club challenge on all fronts this season.
“I know there are a lot of expectations from the fans from me. I knew what to expect when I came here and I promise to give my 100% best,” Moses concluded.
