Super Eagles’ forward, Gabriel Okechukwu is set to make his long-awaited debut against Kawkab Marrakech in the Morrocan Cup after being Cup-tied in the CAF Champions League with Akwa United, AOIFootball.com reports.
The CHAN Eagles’ star joined the Arab outfit earlier this month from Akwa United. He told AOIFootball.com exclusively that he’s been working extremely hard to ensure a near-perfect first season with the Moroccan club.
“Well, I have been training very hard ahead of the new season. The season started at the weekend but we were not in action because of our CAF Champions League game away in Togo. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play because I’m cup-tied.
“Hopefully, I will be able to play this weekend in the Cup match and then make my league debut next week,” Okechukwu concluded.
