Super Eagles’ first choice goalkeeper, Francis Odinaka Uzoho has said he is fully ready for the new football season after his first official training with new club Elche, reports.


The on-loan Deportivo shot-stopper was presented by the club on Wednesday and had his first training session ahead of Elche’s weekend clash at home to Rues Deportiu.


He said afterwards that he is grateful for the new challenge, even as he is fit and ready for it.


“First day at work; I’m back for good,” Uzoho posted on social media.


The 19-year-old goalkeeper is expected to make is debut on Sunday for Elche following an impressive summer with Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the World Cup in Russia.
