After a successful four-year stint with Monaco, Super Eagles’ defender, Elderson Echiejile is ready for a fresh challenge after quitting the French club, reports.
The 30-year-old defender, who joined the principality club in January 2014 from Sporting Braga, making 37 appearances accros two and half seasons, told that he was ready to take on fresh challenges.
“For now, I will continue to work hard and assess the offers that will come my way. There is no pressure on me because I’m ready for the challenge ahead,” Echiejile said.
He however gave no assurance of remaining in Europe or moving to Asia despite interests from various European nations.
