Nigerian forward, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure scored his second league goal of the season as Club Brugge maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a comprehensive 5-2 bashing of Zulte Waregem, reports.
The home side fell behind after just three minutes when Florian Tardiew put through his own goal before Kaveh Rezaei doubled Brugge’s lead on the 26th minute from the penalty spot.
Nigeria’s Dennis made it 3-0 when he headed in a corner kick delivery from Hans Vanaken on the 37th minute before being withdrawn on the dot of half time due to injury.
The away side continued from where they left in the first half as Arnut Groeneveled rifled home to make it 4, before Thomas Buffel (81) and Theo Bongonda (90) halved the deficit for the hosts. A late strike from Mats Rits however ensured Brugge ran out 5-2 winners.
The result leaves Brugge with 16 points after six games and they are yet to lose a game, winning 5 and drawing 1 of their opening six fixtures.
