Super Eagles’ forward, Henry Onyekuru has put behind Galatasaray’s 4-0 drubbing on Saturday, with the player switching attention to Nigeria’s must-win 2019 AFCON qualifiers away to Seychelles next Saturday, reports.

The Galatasaray attacker, who was on for 67 minutes before being withdrawn in the encounter, said that he now wants to switch attention to the national team to ensure the Eagles get back to winning ways.

“The game against Trabzonspor is behind me now; it’s one of those few bad days but I’m confident we will bounce back from it.

“For now, the focus is the national team ahead of our qualifiers and I’m super excited to be back with the team. I hope we can get back to winning ways,” Onyekuru said.

The Eagles’ forward further confirmed he will be among the early arrivals at the team’s base in France on Monday.

Onyekuru last played for Nigeria in last year’s dead rubber World Cup qualifiers against Algeria and will most definitely be pushing for a start as he hopes to meet the required number of games to secure a work permit to play for Everton.
