Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Thursday trained for the second time ahead of their AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles, with the team going through different drills, reports.

The team perfected their formation with Rohr almost certain to adopt the 4-3-3 formation with the likes of Henry Onyekuru, Ogenyi Onazi and Odion Ighalo particularly impressing in training.

The Changchun Yatai forward showed class in training, shrugging off suggestions that his goal-scoring form in China was a fluke.

Another player who showed he can be a very good option on the flank is Galatasaray forward, Henry Onyekuru who displayed pace and tricks as he was too hot for the markers to handle in training.

Similarly, vice-captain Ogenyi Onazi proved he has already shrugged off his pre-World Cup struggles behind him as he was lively in Thursday’s session and could possibly start alongside Wilfred Ndidi in the heart of the midfield, with Etebo likely to start on the bench.

The Eagles are expected to hold one final training session on Friday ahead of the match on Saturday, with the session expected to be a final decider on who starts on match day.
