Ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Pirates of Seychelles, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will lineup in their famous light green and white jersey with the hope of securing their first victory in the qualifying round, reports.

The Gernot Rohr-tutored boys will be confident of victory on Saturday after being unbeaten in two of their three fixtures with the jersey, while the Falconets also recorded victory with the jersey at the recently concluded FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.

Similarly, Kenya referee Omweno Devis will be in charge and will be assisted by compatriot Cheruiyot Gilbert (assistant referee 1) and Ugandans Isorlko Mark (assistant referee 2) and Muhabi Alli (reserve referee).

Mustapha Chitbahal from Mauritius is the match commissioner while Leslie Leonard Liunda from Tanzania is the referee assessor.

Meanwhile, Eagles’ new boy, Jamilu Collins has canvassed support for the team ahead of the clash.

The SC Paderborn defender urged all Nigerians to support the team when they file out against the Pirates of Seychelles on Saturday, saying that the team will go out for all three points.

“I would be very happy if given the opportunity on Saturday. I will give my best the same way we do in trainings to make sure that we succeed against Seychelles and get the victory.

“I want to urge all Nigerians to support the team, pray for us and wish us well so we can have a better game and make them proud and happy,” Jamilu concluded.

The Paderborn left back could start at left back with Bryan Idowu deployed to the right-back position.

Kick off for the match is set at 4:30pm local time and 1:30pm Nigerian time.
