Super Eagles’ forward, Henry Onyekuru has been tipped to be the highest scoring African in this season’s UEFA Champions League flowing his impressive start to the season for Turkish club Galatasaray, reports.

Onyekuru, who will be making his second season appearance in the competition, leads the pack ahead of Liverpool and Senegal striker, Sadio Mane, Porto’s Vincent Abubakar, and Lyon’s Bertrand Traore.

The in-form striker came off the bench to make an impact in Galatasaray’s 4-1 thumping of Kasimpasa. He, however, had his goal ruled out for offside by the VAR.

He will, however, lead the line for Galatasaray in their first Champions League game on Wednesday when they host Russian champions Locomotive Moscow at the Turk Telcom Stadium in Istanbul.
