Super Eagles’ striker, Odion Jude Ighalo continued his impressive form against Guizhou Hengfeng, scoring his 17th goal in just four appearances in their 3-0 win, reports.

Ighalo started his 22 consecutive games, winning a penalty on the 35th minute before comfortably stepping up to convert to give his side the advantage going into the break.

Changchun doubled their lead six minutes after the restart when defender Nemanja Pejcinovic headed in to make it 2-0 before the man of the match Adrian Mierzejewski put the icing on the cake with seven minutes left to make it 3-0.

Ighalo has now scored two better than the 15 he managed last season and remains joint second in the race for the golden boot with Lei Wu who is still leading the race with 20 goals.

The win lifts Changchun to 6th on the table with 9 points after 22 round of matches.
