Big Simy was on target again for FC Crotone

Super Eagles’ striker, Simeon Nwankwo came off the bench to secure all three points for Serie B side Crotone as they earned their second victory of the season beating Livorno 1-0, reports.

Simy started from the bench for the second consecutive game, watching on as the first half ended goalless with both teams failing to conjure any meaningful opening.

The Eagles forward was however introduced with 12 minutes left for Ante Budmir, with the substitution turning into a masterstroke after the Nigerian tapped home from a set up by Marco Firenze with six minutes left on the watch.

The goal was Simy’s first of the season but it lifts Crotone to third on the table with 7 points from three matches.
