Super Eagles’ speed demon, Ahmed Musa signed off for the international break in blistering form, producing a five-star performance for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr in their 5-1 demolition of Al-Hazm on matchday five of the Saudi League, reports.

Musa, who was named the best player for the month of September, opened the scoring for the home side on the 26th minute after being set up by Nordin Amrabat.

The home side however levelled matters six minutes later via the boot of Rodolfo, bringing the scores level going into the break.

Still yet to drop a point from their opening four league outings, Al-Nassr turned the heat on their opponent in the second half when Giuliano made it 2-1 in the 47th minute before Musa bagged his first assist 10 minutes later when he set up Giuliano who netted his brace to make it 3-1.

Three soon became four when the impressive Amrabat converted to make it 4-1 after 74 minutes before Musa again got in on the act to provide his side fifth goal of the clash, setting up Mohammed Al-Shahlawi to make it 5-1. The result means Al-Nassr have made it 15 points from a possible 15.

Musa was on for the entire match duration and narrowly missed out on the man of the match award with a game rating of 8.6, scoring 1 and assisting 2. He also completed 79% of his passes, 100% of his dribbles and made 4 key passes.

The goal takes the Nigerian back to the top of the scorers’ chart with 4 goals, a position he jointly shares with Bafetimbi Gomis, Cristian Guanca and Nasser Al Shamrami who all have 4 goals to their names.
