Despite joining the team less than 5 hours before their first training session, Changchun Yatai forward Odion Ighalo was the star man at Eagles’ Wednesday session, impressing among all 24 players involved, reports.
The former Watford striker scored four goals in the evening session, making a strong case to lead the line on Saturday in Uyo.
Also impressing in Wednesday evening’s session was Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo who chipped in a fantastic goal, while the duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Henry Onyekuru also impressed.
The Eagles are due to have a closed-door training on Thursday, with Rohr set to select the players that will start on Saturday.
