Super Eagles’ and SC Paderborn of Germany left-back, Jamilu Collins has said the squad is united ahead of Saturday’s clash against Libya, positing that they will make Nigerians smile, reports.
The former Abuja Football College prodigy, who will be hoping for his first competitive senior appearance against Libya, further praised the rest of the squad for making him feel at home in camp.
“We are praying and believe we can get the victory; it doesn’t matter who plays or not, the most important thing is for us to win for all Nigerians. For me, the victory is more important than any other thing.
“So far everything has been good, we have had good training sessions. I’m good with the whole team, everybody accepted me in a good way and it shows I’m welcomed to the family,” Collins concluded.
The 24-year-old got his first senior call-up against Seychelles last September before making his debut against Liberia in a friendly match a few days later.
