Super Eagles’ and Vitoria Setubal midfielder, Mikel Agu has revealed he is very much ready for his side, Taca de’s Portugal Cup clash against lowly rated Armacenenses, AOIFootball.com reports.
The on-loan Porto midfielder, who is yet to taste defeat with Setubal since his deadline day switch, further highlighted the importance of the clash for both him and the rest of the squad.
“I’m always prepared and ready to for every game. This weekend we have a cup game but we will approach the game with all seriousness regardless of the opposition because we want win to boost our confidence in our future matches.
“It’s not just about me, because I can’t do the playing alone, but if the team are winning with me on the pitch then I would be happy to always be on the field to help us get the positive results we need,” Agu added.
The former Bursaspor midfielder is yet to taste defeat in any of his four matches since joining the club and will hope to help Setubal reach the fourth round of the cup competition.
