Nigerian international, Stephen Odey scored his third league goal of the season to help FC Zürich earn an impressive 3-3 draw at home to Young Boys in the Swiss League, reports.
The former MFM forward who was given the mandate to lead his side’s attack, opened scoring after seven minutes to put the home team ahead before Benjamin Kololli made it 2-0 three minutes later to hand them a healthy 2-0 halftime lead.
Guillaume Hoarau halved the deficit ten minutes after the break from the penalty spot, only for Roberto Rodriquez to restore Zurich’s two-goal lead three minutes later as he converted from 12 yards to put them 3-1 up.
However, two quick-fire goals after the hour mark from Nicolas Ngamalei (64) and Guillaume Hoarau (69) ensured Young Boys fought back as the match ended 3-3 with both teams sharing the spoils.
The strike was Odey’s 6th of the campaign in all competitions, with the win moving FC Zürich to third on the log with 17 points from 11 games.
