Former Golden Eaglets forward, Samuel Chukwueze continued to rise through the ranks in Spanish club Villarreal, coming off the bench to claim am assist in their 5-0 thumping of visiting Rapid Wien, AOIFootball.com reports.
Chukweze, who was promoted to the first team at the beginning of the season, started from the bench as goals from Pablo Fornals in the 26th minute, Karl Toko Ekambi, 30th minute and an own goal from Mateo Barac gave the Spanish side a healthy 3-0 lead going into the break.
Rabi made it 4-0 after 63 minutes before Chukweze was introduced two minutes later for his third appearance in the competition, replacing Pablo Fornals in the process.
The 2015 cadet World Cup star then helped put the icing on the cake, turning provider for Gerard Moreno to make it 5-0 on the night.
Despite featuring for just 25 minutes, the forward still had an impressive game rating of 7.4, completing 81% of his passes, 100% of his dribbles and also won three of his five duels contested.
The victory moves Villarreal to the summit of their group with 5 points from a possible nine, level on points with Rangers who have also played three games.
