Super Eagles’ stand-in captain Ahmed Musa returned to action for Al-Nassr as they failed to pick up maximum points for the first time in their 1-1 draw away to Al-Fayha on matchday 7 of the Saudi Arabian League, reports.
Musa, who was given an extended international break, started the match with his side taking an early lead courtesy of winger Nordin Amrabat in the 15th minute.
However, Al-Nassr where pegged back in GBE second half when Danilo Asprilla equalised for the hosts after 58 minutes with Al-Nassr not being able to find a late winner as both sides shared the spoils.
Musa could not add to his four league goals but featured for the entire match duration with a game rating of 6.7, completed 73% of his passes, won five of his eight duels contested and made one key interception.
The result now leaves Al-Nassr on first position momentarily with 19 points, one above second-placed Al-Hilal who have played a game less.
