Super Eagles’ forward, Victor Osimhen continued his fantastic form in front of goal for Belgium side RC Sporting Charleroi as he scored for the third consecutive match in their 2-1 loss away to Gent, who featured Anderson Esiti and Taiwo Awoniyi in the clash, reports.
The 19-year- old attacker started his fifth consecutive league match but it was the hosts who drew first blood six minutes after the half-hour mark via the boots of Giorgi Chakvetad.
Osimhen, however, drew his side level three minutes to half time to record his fourth goal in three league outings and his fifth overall with both teams going into the break.
However, it was the home side who took the lead again three minutes after the break with Georgian forward Giorgi Chakvetad netting what proved to be the winning goal.
The result leaves Charleroi on 8th position with 14 points while Gent moves up the table to 5th on the log with 20 points after 12 matches.
