Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru has arrived Germany with his Galatasaray teammates ahead of their must-win clash against Schalke 04 after failing to win the reverse fixture two weeks ago, reports.
Onyekuru recently returned to action for Galatasaray over the weekend against Fenerbahçe and will be aiming for his third outing after featuring against Locomotive Moscow and FC Porto earlier in the group.
“Can’t wait to hear the Champions League theme song again tomorrow night. We are ready,” Onyekuru posted on his arrival in Germany.
The Nigerian will, however, be targeting his maiden Champions league goal if selected to start on Tuesday night, after failing to score in any of his last 8 matches in the competition since making his debut with Anderlecht last season.
Third-placed Galatasaray visit the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, needing at least a point to keep their hopes of qualification into the knockout stages of the elite competition alive.
