Nigerian forward, Stephen Odey has attributed his recent goal-scoring form to hard work and consistency, whilst also setting a target of sixteen goals before the end of the season, reports.
The former MFM player, who was in imperial form last weekend, told exclusively that he is happy with his current exploits in front of goal.
“Yes, I do have a target of at least 15 or16 goals for the season I know it won’t be easy but I believe I’m up to the task.
“I will say the reason for the goals has been initiating attacks when there is enough space and when I get the ball and also getting involved when we have corner kicks,” Odey disclosed.
At just 20, Odey remains one of Nigeria’s most talked about forwards in Europe, netting 9 goals already this season, five more than the entire number he achieved in his first season in Switzerland and it’s not even mid-season yet.
