Nigerian forward, Blessing Chibuike Eleke came off the bench to score and assist another when his side made light work of FC Lugano, defeating them 4-1 in away in the Swiss League, reports.
Goals from Ruben Varges in the 37th minute and Christian Schneuwly three minutes after the interval put Luzern two goals up before the Nigerian was introduced after 54 minutes for Tomi Juric.
The 22-year-old instantly made his impact by providing an assist for Ruben Varges to get his brace just after the hour mark, before the hosts pulled one back via the boot of Carlinhos Junior on the 72nd minute.
Eleke did, however, restore his side’s three- goal lead three minutes later, netting his fifth goal of the season after finishing of a pass from Stefan Knezevic.
The win now lifts FC Luzern to 6th on the table with 18 points from 14 games.
