Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu continued his impressive form in front of gaol in the Danish League as he scored his 9th goal of the campaign in FC Midtjylland’s 5-0 bashing of visiting Vesije Boldklub, reports.
Starting his 13th league game of the season, the Nigerian doubled his side’s lead after 24 minutes, finishing off a Marc Dal Hende pass two minutes after Awer Mabil had put the home side ahead earlier.
Evander made it 3-0 after 52 minutes before Awer Mabil scored his brace five minutes after the hour mark with Jakob Poulsen wrapping up the victory after 71 minutes to complete a resounding victory for the hosts.
With the strike, Onuachu is just one goal shy of the ten he scored last season despite still playing in the first half of the season.
The big win, however, puts Midtjylland top of the Danish League standings with 35 points from 16 matches, level on point with Kobenhaven which has a lesser goal difference.
