Super Eagles’ forward, Henry Onyekuru has been named in the Turkish Super League Team of the Week after his superlative performance against Kayserispor on Saturday, with the Nigerian scoring twice in their 3-0 win, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Galatasaray player, who scored his fourth league goal of the season, leads the attack alongside K. Boutaib of Yeni Melatyaspor, in a 4-4-2 formation with teammates Mariano and Omer Bayran also making the cut as compiled by Whoscored.com.
The Nigerian had a game rating of 8.2, scoring twice from his two shots on target, and also completed 55% of his passes, won six duels and also won 100% of his tackles.
Champions Galatasaray leads the way with three players alongside Yeni Melatyaspor which also has three players, whilst Sivasspor and Akhisarspor produced two players each with Martin Skrtel of Fenerbahce completing the lineup.
