Super Eagles’ defender, Kenneth Omeruo continued his impressive for with Leganes by helping them to yet another clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Deportivo Alaves on Friday night, AOIFootball.com reports.
Omeruo started his fifth league game after returning from the international break on time to help his side earn their first victory in seven games, much to the admiration of the home supporters.
Youssef En-Nesyri’s 42nd-minute strike was all the home team needed to record their first win in the league since the win over Rayo Vallecano with Omeruo impressing in the heart of the defence.
The on-loan  Chelsea defender played the entire duration of the match and had a game rating of 7.0, completing 100% of his tackles and 65% of his passes. He also made 6 clearances and won 5 of his six duels contested.
The win stretches Leganes’ unbeaten run to four matches, whilst they now move to 16th on the log with 13 points from 13 games.
