Former NPFL goal king, Anthony Okpotu has finally made his long-anticipated league debut for Moroccan club, Diffa Hassani El-Jadidi after his full recovery from a groin injury, AOIFootball.com reports.

The former Lobi Stars forward returned to full training last month and was named among the substitutes for the visit of Mouloudia Oujda as they claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win.

The Nigerian was introduced in the 77th minute to replace goalscorer Adanane Ouardey much to the joy of the home fans who had a feel of their summer signing for the first time in the league.

The CHAN Eagles striker will, however, be in contention for a starting shirt when Diffa El-Jadida travels to the Stade Muhammed Vin Casablanca where they will face Wydad Athletic Club in a rescheduled league match on Wednesday.
