Super Eagles’ and Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi has been included in the Super Liga Team of the Week, reports.
The 25-year-old only returned to the team after a week injury layoff but showed no signs of rustiness as he  was impressive for the decent Turkish club, capping off the outing with a fine solo goal.
The prolific player stands alone in the defensive midfield position in a 4-1-4-1 formation as compiled by sofascore, with his Trabzonspor teammate Abdülkadir Ömür also making the cut.
He had a game rating of 8.2, who was man of the match completed 90.2% of his passes, won 6 of his 11 duels contested and also won 3 of his 4 tackles attempted.
There was also a place in the best XI for Kayserispor goalkeeper Silviu Lung Jr who saved two penalty kicks in their 3-0 win over Kasimpasa whilst his teammate Tjaron Chery also made the cut after scoring twice in the win.
Onazi has now scored two league goals in 14 matches, equaling the total he achieved  last season, a clear sign that the Eagles’ midfielder has now taken his game to a whole new level and can’t be written off just yet.
