Super Eagles’ and Villarreal of Spain forward, Samuel Chukwueze is hoping to begin a new adventure under new Coach Luis Garcia when they file out in a must-win Europa League clash at home against Spartak Moscow on Thursday night, reports.
With his side needing to avoid defeat in the match, the 19-year-old told from his base in Spain, that the entire squad are already prepared for the match and understand what is at stake.
“It’s a match we must take our chances because we can’t afford to lose at home; everybody is physically and mentally ready and we are confident of victory.
“We just want to qualify for the next round; we are unbeaten in the group and we want to keep it that way. It won’t be an easy game for us because they also stand a chance of qualifying which makes it more difficult,” Chukwueze said.
Villarreal currently top Group G with 7 points, level with second placed Rapid Wien but the Spanish team need to at least avoid defeat against Spartak Moscow to qualify for the Round if 32 of the Europa League.
