Nigerian forwards, Paul Onuachu and Rilwan Hassan were both on song for FC Midtjylland as they momentarily returned to the top of the Danish League after they defeating AC Horsens 3-1 away from home, reports.
Both players partnered in the attack and it took them just twelve minutes to make their presence felt when Onuachu setup Hassan to put Midtjylland ahead.
Oliver Frost then equalized for the host 10 minutes to halftime but Alexander Scholz restored Midtjylland’s lead one minute after the break to bring scores to 2-1.
With the hosts pushing for a late equalizer, Onuachu got into the act, netting his 11th goal of the season right on the dot of 90 minutes to hand his side a comfortable 3-1 win.
With the goal, the 24-year-old has now surpassed his last season’s haul of 10 goals despite just playing 16 games this term.
