Super Eagles’ forward, Simy Nwankwo could be playing his football next month in Switzerland as reports emanating from the Swiss press indicate that FC Basel are eyeing the Nigerian attacker, reports.
The 26-year-old revealed last week that he could be on the move next month and Basel are now expressing interest in bringing him to the club next month with the winter transfer window just less than two weeks away.
Further investigations also revealed that clubs in Belgium are in the chase of the Nigerian who is willing to quit Crotone in the winter to favour a chance to play for Nigeria at the 2019 AFCON.
Simy has found playing time hard to come by this season with Crotone as the striker just starting just fine of his side’s fixtures next season, scoring three times in the period.
