Super Eagles’ and Torino of Italy full-back, Ola Aina has revealed that last Saturday’s 1-0 loss in the hands of Juventus was a painful one but he still had lots of positives to take away from the clash, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 22-year-old started in his first ever Turin derby and had to cope with both the pace of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Sandro who were both on the attacking side of Aina’s position.
A penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo, however, was the only difference in the game as Juventus maintained their dominance over Torino. “Great experience in my first Turin Derby.
Sad about the result. We move forward and prepare for the next match,” Aina posted afterward.
The Chelsea loanee has been a constant figure since his switch from London to Turin, featuring in 14 league matches and starting 10 of those matches to help Torino stay 11th on the log with 22 points after 16 rounds of matches.
