Super Eagles’ defender, Leon Balogun will start for the third successive game later this weekend when his Brighton & Hove Albion team travel to the Vitality Stadium to seek their first win against Bournemouth in the EPL, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Nigerian will will earn his seventh league cap and his fourth start of the season should he start the game with the Seagulls who are hoping for a win after three outings.
Brighton head into the clash on the back of a slim 2-1 loss to Chelsea last weekend whilst Bournemouth also lost to Chelsea at the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night by a lone goal.
Since joining Brighton from Mainz in the summer, Balogun has featured in six EPL matches this season, starting three and scoring one goal.
He also holds the record for the fastest goal scored by a substitute in the EPL this season after coming off the bench to score in Brighton’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace a fortnight ago.
