Super Eagles’ midfielder Samuel Eduok was in imperial form on Wednesday in the Turkish Cup as he scored one and assisted another in Kasimpasa’s 4-1 win over Menemen Beledeyispor to progress on a 6-2 aggregate win, AOIFootball.com reports.
After a cagey opening twenty minutes, the hosts raced to a three goal lead in the space of ten minutes when young star Mustafa Erboga put them ahead on 27 minutes before Bengali Code converted from 12 yards on the 34th minute and then Erboga again four minutes later after being setup by Eduok to make it 3-0 going into the break.
The hosts resumed hostilities almost like the first half and made it 4-0 after 71 minutes when Eduok raced on to a through ball before finding space underneath the goalkeeper to slot home his 6th goal of the season.
The Nigerian was then withdrawn almost immediately for Cagtay Kurukalip before the away side scored a late consolation via the boot of Serhat Bastan as the match ended 4-1 in favour of Kasimpasa.
