Super Eagles’ midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi produced yet another solid display for Leicester City as they earned their first win away at Stamford Bridge, defeating Chelsea 1-0 right in their own backyard, AOIFootball.com reports.
Ndidi overcame a little knock to start his 17th league game of the season, producing the best chance of the first half when he fired from 30 yards only to be denied by the stretching hands of Kepa Arrizbalaga in goal for Chelsea.
The Foxes did, however, break the deadlock early in the second half when Jamie Vardy fired home a slick pass from Madison to hand Leicester all three points.
“Massive team performance today, what a win,” Ndidi posted afterward
The 22-year-old was on for the entire match duration, overcoming an early yellow card setback to record a game rating of 6.5, completing 73% of his passes, making one key block and also 4 clearances.
