Samuel Kalu has revealed his Bordeaux side will target maximum three points on Sunday when they host Amiens in their final home bow of the year to preserve their nine-match unbeaten run going into the new year, reports.
The Nigerian, who recently returned from injury to feature in their midweek cup win against Dijon, told exclusively ahead that he was looking forward to playing again in the league after last featuring against PSG earlier this month.
“Yes, the team is well prepared for the match; the atmosphere is good and we are very positive about Sunday’s outcome.
“For me, it will be a perfect way to end the year in front of our fans so it will be good to give them an early Christmas present,” Kalu said.
The 21-year-old has featured in 12 league games since his switch from Belgium, starting 8 of those games and scoring once in the process to help Bordeaux to 12th on the log with 21 points from 16 matches.
