Super Eagles’ midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi was on for just 34 minutes before being withdrawn because of injury as Trabzonspor moved up to second on the log with an impressive 4-1 win over Caykur Rizespor, reports.
The 25-year-old only returned to full fitness a fortnight ago and started his 15 league game of the season before being replaced on the 34th minute by Juraj Kucka with Trabzonspor already leading by a lone goal.
Despite being on for just 32 minutes, Onazi still managed to make his impact felt with a game rating if 7.1, completing a game-high 93.3% passes, winning four of his five duels contested and also won all three tackles.
The Eagles’ star will, however, be assessed by the club’s medical staff in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury.
