Super Eagles’ midfielder Ogenyi Onazi stepped up his recovery from an Achilles tendon injury after visiting the national team’s physiotherapist on his return to the country, reports.
The Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder had the injury last month in a league game against Caykur Rizespor and successfully underwent surgery days later.

Confirming his treatment by the national team’s physiotherapist, the midfielder told that he was grateful for the support of the NFF as he begins proper rehabilitation next week.
“I was checked and treated by the national team’s physiotherapist; it was good to see the support from the national team and I want to thank the NFF for the support during this period and I hope to get back on my feet as soon as possible.
“I will be heading back to Turkey next week and begin the first phase of my rehabilitation to step up my return,” Onazi said.
