Super Eagles’ defender, Abdullahi Shehu is fully set for Bursaspor’s next Monday clash against Fenerbahce after being out for over three months due to injury, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 25-year-old featured only once for the Crocodiles this season after series of relapse to the injury he suffered last year while on international duty with Nigeria against Libya in Uyo.
But having returned to full training earlier this month ahead of the second stanza of the Turkish League, the player now hopes to prove his fitness ahead of the big game at home to struggling Fenerbahce.
“We’ll be back on Monday. The big game is coming. We are @BursasporSk,” Abdullahi posted after Friday’s training session.
11th placed Bursaspor host relegation-threatened Fenerbahce who are currently 17th on the 18-team log, with Bursaspor targeting their first three points of the year.
