Super Eagles’ and Bursaspor of Turkey utility player, Shehu Abdullahi has expressed his delight after making a return to the pitch following a long injury layoff, reports.
Abdullahi, who joined Bursaspor last January from Cyprus club, Anorthosis, told exclusively from his base in Turkey, that be hopes to stay fit for the remainder of the season.
“I feel good and happy about it. It’s a moment I have waited for since last year and I’m happy I can now play football again. It was a good moment for me to come in for the last few minutes and I hope to now work my way back into the starting XI,” Abdullahi stated.
Abdullahi was a key player for Bursaspor last season after joining in the winter and helped the club to a 13th place finish last term.
