Babatunde Michael is planning to wreak plenty of havoc on Lobi Stars when both sides meet on Friday in a CAF Champions League clash at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu, reports.
The Wydad Athletic of Morocco player told exclusively ahead of his team’s departure to Nigeria, that they will arrive the country with the sole aim of picking maximum points against their opponents.
“It’s going to be an emotional game for me no doubt because I will be playing in my country. But as professionals we have to get the job done which is what we will do on the pitch come Friday in Enugu.
“We have seen what they are capable of and I’m confident we can overcome them and return to Morocco with all three points,” Babatunde said.
He however posited that his team will not underrate the Nigerian side who are yet to lose or concede at home in the competition as they bid to get back to winning ways following their loss to Sundowns in their last outing.
With all four teams in the group on three points each after two games, Wydad will be seeking their first win on Nigerian soil after first playing a goalless draw with Julius Berger in their first visit in 1992 and losing 4-1 the following year to Stationery Stores in Lagos.
