Nigerian international, Ifeanyi Matthew is set to join Turkish Super Lig 1 side Osmanlispor on loan from Norwegian club Lillestrom for the rest of the season, reports.
The 22-year-old will arrive in Turkey latest Thursday evening before signing a deal with the club for the rest of the season as he hopes to reestablish himself in mainstream Europe.
Osmanlispor is currently 4th on the log with 35 points from 19 games, seven points behind leaders Denzalispor who are in the chase for promotion to the main league.
Mathew will become the second Nigerian to move to the Lig 1 this window following the arrival of Olanrewaju Kehinde to Denizlispor after joining from Ankaragucu, further adding to the growing list of Nigerians in the Turkish League.
The 22-year-old midfielder was a super regular for Lllestrom last season as he helped them to a 13th place finish last season, scoring four goals in 30 league matches for the Norwegian side.
